
Tribune to Release Q1 2001 Earnings
on April 18
CHICAGO, April 9, 2001 -- Tribune
Company announced today that it will release its first quarter
2001 earnings on Wednesday, April 18, 2001 following the market
close. A conference call to discuss first quarter earnings
will also be held Wednesday, April 18 at 4 p.m. (CDT). The
full text of the earnings announcement and the financial tables
accompanying it will be available on Tribune's Web site, www.tribune.com.
The conference call will be accessible live
to the media and general public via Internet Web cast and
through a limited number of listen-only, dial-in conference
lines. To gain access to the call, dial (800) 300-1370 at
least 10 minutes prior to the scheduled 4 p.m. start of the
call. Replays of the conference call will be available from
late Wednesday, April 18, 2001 through Wednesday, April 25,
