Tribune to Release Q2 2001 Earnings
on July 19
CHICAGO, June 27, 2001 -- Tribune
Company announced today that it will release second quarter
2001 earnings on Thursday, July 19, before the market opens.
A conference call to discuss second quarter earnings will
be held that day at 8 a.m. (CDT). The full text of the earnings
announcement and accompanying financial tables will be available
on Tribune's Web site, www.tribune.com.
The conference call will be accessible to the
media and general public via Internet Webcast and through
a limited number of listen-only, dial-in conference lines.
To gain access to the call, dial 800/633-8528 at least 10
minutes prior to the scheduled 8 a.m. start. Replays of the
conference call will be available from July 19 through July
