Tribune Media Net Names Lourdes Hudson-Yorlano
Director of Sales, Eastern Region
CHICAGO, April 10, 2002 -- Tribune
Media Net, the national advertising sales organization for
Tribune Company (NYSE:TRB),
today announced that advertising executive Lourdes (Lou) Hudson-Yorlano
has been named Director of Sales for Tribune Media Net's Eastern
region, which services clients and ad agencies in New York,
Atlanta and Miami. She will lead the outside sales activities
that provide national advertisers creative marketing solutions
in Tribune newspapers including Newsday, Chicago Tribune and
Los Angeles Times.
"Lou is a terrific addition to the Tribune
Media Net team," said Dana Hayes, Tribune Media Net vice
president of sales. "She's a dynamic sales executive
who will lead our largest newspaper region to attract national
advertisers to our leading local brands."
Hudson-Yorlano joins Tribune Media Net from
Advo, Inc., one of the nation's largest targeted marketing
services, where she served as Regional Sales Manager for the
company's North Jersey and New York markets. Prior to Advo,
Hudson-Yorlano was vice president of sales at Harte Hanks
Communications, a San Antonio-based publishing firm, where
she developed and managed cross-selling strategy for five
community newspapers. Earlier in her career she held a variety
of sales positions in the Dallas/Ft. Worth market.
Hudson-Yorlano is a graduate of the University
of Texas at Arlington. She holds a bachelor's degree in International
Studies and a master's degree in counseling from East Texas
State University.
