to Urban Entertainment

African-Americans in nine top markets
CHICAGO, May 30, 2002 -- BlackVoices.com,
the nation's leading destination for African-American adults
online, today introduced the BlackVoices.com City Guide, http://new.blackvoices.com/travel/destinations/cityguide/,
a new service providing local Black entertainment and travel
news, restaurant, event, local member profiles and movie information
in nine major markets: Los Angeles, Washington D.C., Chicago,
Philadelphia, Detroit, Atlanta, New Orleans and Miami-Ft.
Lauderdale. By late summer, BlackVoices.com will include 11
additional cities as well as information on attractions, conventions,
churches, sports and concerts.

In its initial phase, the BlackVoices City
Guide is providing local Black entertainment and travel news,

Event information is provided through a unique partnership
with SOCIALSTEP.COM,
an online resource for urban professionals that provides information
on social events, networking opportunities, travel, community
service opportunities and cultural events.

Sun.
Later this summer, Blackvoices.com will add
additional city guides for Hartford, Conn.; Baltimore; Norfolk,
Va.; Houston; Dallas; Oakland-San Francisco; Cleveland, St.
Louis; Memphis, Tenn.; and Charlotte, N.C. New content will
also include information on local attractions, conventions,
churches, sporting events and concerts.
Other features on BlackVoices.com include in-depth
coverage of Black entertainment and news, multimedia features
like BlackVoices Centerpiece, and a new, more functional BlackVoices
Career Center. Also prominent is a new member photos section
with nearly 75,000 photos, plus hundreds of thousands of new
and updated member profiles.
