Tribune to Release Second Quarter Earnings
on July 18
CHICAGO, July 18, 2002 -- Tribune
Company announced today that it will release second quarter
2002 earnings on Thurs., July 18, before the market opens.
A conference call to discuss second quarter earnings will
be held that day at 8 a.m. (CDT). The full text of the earnings
announcement and accompanying financial tables will be available
on Tribune's Web site, www.tribune.com.
The conference call will be accessible to the
media and general public via Internet Webcast and through
a limited number of listen-only, dial-in conference lines.

the scheduled 8 a.m. start. Replays of the conference call
