Tribune to Announce Second Quarter Earnings on July 17

CHICAGO, June 30, 2003 -- Tribune Company (NYSE:TRB) will announce second quarter 2003 earnings on Thurs., July 17, before the market opens. A conference call to discuss the results will be held that day at 8 a.m. CDT. The full text of the earnings announcement and accompanying financial tables will be available on Tribune’s Web site, www.tribune.com.
