Stephanie Pater Named Director of Real Estate
CHICAGO Feb. 13, 2008 -- Tribune Company today announced that Stephanie Pater has joined the company as director of real estate. She will oversee a complete review of Tribune’s real estate assets with an eye toward maximizing value and reducing the company’s overall operating costs.
After joining Tribune last month, Pater was instrumental in helping complete the sale of Tribune Studios and related real estate in Los Angeles to Hudson Capital, LLC, for $125 million. She is currently involved in closing Tribune’s acquisition of the TMCT properties in Los Angeles, Long Island, Baltimore and Hartford.
Pater brings 15 years of corporate real estate experience to Tribune. Previously, she was director of real estate and construction for Kirkland & Ellis, LLP, in Chicago. Prior to that she worked in Atlanta for Kaplan Inc. and Trammell Crow Company.
An Emory University graduate, Pater is active with CoreNet Global, the world’s leading professional association for corporate real estate executives. She is vice president of CoreNet’s Chicago chapter.
